Ai+ Smartphone Launches Rs 100 Crore Project Trust+ to Strengthen Security

Ai+ Smartphone has launched Project Trust+, committing Rs. 100 crore over five years to strengthen smartphone security through independent researchers, developers and ethical hackers while promoting transparency, privacy and user ownership.

Ai+ Smartphone has launched Project Trust+, a five-year initiative aimed at creating what the company describes as India’s safest smartphone ecosystem through long-term community engagement. Under the programme, the company has committed Rs. 20 crore annually for the next five years, taking the total commitment to Rs. 100 crore, to encourage the technology and developer community to strengthen security and build trust across its devices.

Through Project Trust+, Ai+ Smartphone is inviting independent researchers to test its systems, challenge its security architecture and identify vulnerabilities that can be addressed before they affect consumers.

The initiative is based on the company’s belief that security is an ongoing process rather than a final destination. As digital ecosystems become increasingly interconnected, Ai+ Smartphone said building secure smartphones requires collaboration, transparency and active participation from the wider community.

Project Trust+ is intended to go beyond traditional bug bounty programmes by creating an open environment in which developers, security researchers and ethical hackers can collectively contribute to the security and resilience of Ai+ products.

Commenting on the announcement, Madhav Sheth, CEO, Ai+ Smartphone and Founder, NxtQuantum Shift Technologies, said, "Most companies tell users their devices are secure. We want to prove it. The reality is that no smartphone, no platform, and no technology ecosystem can claim security as a finished destination. It evolves every day. Project Trust+ reflects our belief that trust should be built transparently and collaboratively. We are opening our doors to India’s technology community because we believe the safest products are built not in isolation, but together."
